Profile

Christian Barry's research focuses on ethical theory, philosophy of action, and international justice. His recent work includes a monograph with Sanjay Reddy, International Trade and Labour Standards: A Proposal for Linkage (Columbia University Press), and articles in Philosophy & Public Affairs, Journal of Political Philosophy, Review of International Studies, International Affairs, Cornell International Law Journal, and the Journal of Social Philosophy.  He is currently completing a book with Gerhard Øverland (under contract with Cambridge University Press) on the meaning and moral significance of the distinctions between doing, allowing, and enabling harm.

Christian hosts and produces CMSPT's regular online audio program Public Ethics Radio.
