The Philosophy Program at RSSS regularly plays host to a small number of PhD students from PhD programs at other universities, both in Australia and elsewhere. They spend a period of time at RSSS as a Visiting PhD Student, talking with the Program's academic staff, PhD students, and Visiting Fellows.

Visiting PhD Students are provided with a desk and access to computing, email, and library facilities. Students enrolled in the following PhD programs have taken advantage of this scheme:
