Susanna Schellenberg’s work focuses on philosophy of perception and related topics in philosophy of mind, epistemology, and philosophy of language. She is particularly interested in the nature of perceptual content, the justificatory role of perception, and the unity of perceptual consciousness. She is currently developing the idea that the content of experience is best understood in terms of potentially gappy modes of presentations. Her publications include:
"Minimalism about Phenomenology", Philosophy and Phenomenological
Research, forthcoming.
"The Situation-Dependency of Perception", Journal of Philosophy,
105(2), Feb 2008, pp. 55-84.
"Action and Self-Location in Perception", Mind, 116 (463), July 2007, pp. 603-632.
Susanna's papers can be found on her website.
