I came to ANU in March 2007 from the History and Philosophy of Science Department at the University of Melbourne. While at Melbourne I completed a BSc in Zoology and a BA (Hons - HPS) in HPS and History. My work there was in the majority concerned with problems related to evidence in the study of animal cognition and evolution. My work at ANU is an extension of this, my primary interest being the evolution of decision. I am particularly interested in the relationship between decision theory (how decisions are made) and theories regarding the evolution of decision (how these processes have evolved). My primary supervisor is Kim Sterelny.
