I am mainly interested in an area that sits on the vague boundary between the philosophy of language and the philosophy of mind. At the moment I am focusing on the way theories of truth and theories of meaning and/or content are related. One important question in this area is whether a correspondence theory of truth is required for the purposes of psychological explanation, or whether a disquotational theory can do all the necessary work. I am also interested in how, if at all, these issues relate to the realism/anti-realism debate and to the possible worlds analysis of intentionality.
