I am interested in metaethics and philosophy of biology. My main focus is on the role of sexual selection in the evolution of morality. I'm wondering whether moral behaviour might have evolved as a costly signal of mate quality. I'm also wondering whether sexual selection as an explanatory resource might make a distinctive contribution to establishing an evolutionary error theory.
