Adam Pautz

Adam Pautz (BA Philosophy, BA Psychology, University of Minnesota, PhD, New York University) is an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at the University of Texas at Austin and also is part of David Chalmers' research project "The Contents of Consciousness" at the Australian National University. His papers include "An Argument Against Armstrong's Analysis of Resemblance between Universals" (Australasian Journal of Philosophy, 1997), "Have Byrne and Hilbert Answered Hardin's Challenge?" (Behavioral and Brain Sciences, 2003), and "Sensory Awareness is not a Wide Physical Relation: An Empirical Argument against Externalist Intentionalism" (forthcoming, along with a reply by Michael Tye, in Nous).
