29 - 30 August 2002 This year's Moral Psychology Workshop, the third in the series hosted by the Philosophy Program at RSSS, ANU, will focus on the work of Michael Bratman (Stanford). Bratman will give a brief introduction to each of the three papers that have been chosen for the workshop. His introduction will then be followed by a short commentary. These will be given by Karen Jones (Melbourne), Garrett Cullity (Adelaide) and Jeanette Kennett (Monash). The sessions will then open up for general discussion. Those who attend the workshop will be expected to have read all of the papers in advance. For those at ANU, copies of Bratman's papers are available for photocopying in Michael Smith's pigeon hole in the Philosophy Program, Coombs Building. Those outside the ANU should send an email to Michael.Smith@anu.edu.au. Copies will be sent to you. Those wishing information about accommodation and the like should get in touch with Di Crosse, whose contact details are given below.
For those who are able to stay on longer, note that Michael Bratman will be giving a fourth paper, "Shared Valuing and Frameworks for Practical Reasoning", as part of the Philosophy Program at RSSS's regular Thursday Seminar Series on Thursday 5 September at 4:00 pm.
