Friday 6, Monday 9, and Tuesday 10 September 2002 This year's Film and Philosophy Workshop, the second in the series, will focus on problems in film narrative and narration. The workshop will comprise three films followed by three seminars. The seminars will be given by George Wilson. Wilson is currently Professor of Philosophy at the University of California at Davis, and is the author of Narration in Light (Johns Hopkins, 1986).
Last Year at Marienbad directed by Alain Resnais Mulholland Drive directed by David Lynch. All sessions will take place in the Innovations Building on the ANU campus. The format for each of the three days will be as follows:
10:30-1:00 Film screening with introduction by George Wilson All who are interested are most welcome. George Wilson will also give a paper in the Philosophy Program's regular Thursday Seminar Series on 12 September at 4:00 pm.
